This heavy weight barkcloth is a fantastic Hawaiian Tropics design from the 40s.
The soft gray ground, with a rainforest design in silhouette, is the perfect backdrop for the stunning red, green, chartreuse, pink, cream, and chocolate brown foliage of this fab tropical design.
The total effect is rather like looking at an old kaleidoscope in sepia tones.
Excellent Used Vintage Condition
This fabric started life as a drapery that has been carefully deconstructed, freshly laundered, and pressed.
No Dry Rot or Sun Damage
There is a small repair 11" down from the top of the panel, (see last photo), otherwise MINT!
