This fabric is a light to medium weight acetate from the 1940's. A stylized floral design that is Hollywood Glam at it's finest.
Stunning red and yellow hibiscus take center stage on the amazing mid century design.
This fabric is in excellent condition.
It started life as a drapery which has been carefully deconstructed, freshly laundered, and pressed.
No Sun Damage or Dry Rot
There are prominent fold lines on both selvage edges from the side hems in the fabric's days as a drapery Both sides, have a visible line 2 inches in from the selvage edge,(see photo #5).
