Groovy heavy weight cotton barkcloth from the 1950's.
This is a fabric that clearly draws the line, geometrically speaking.
Wide 2.75" (7 cm) stripes, run the length of this fabric in a fabulous color palate featuring eggplant, and green, with gray and chartreuse stripes that resembles a child's idea of coloring within the lines.
Between the major lines are thin accent lines of robins egg blue and red, that add an other layer of interest.
A fun versatile textile that could find a home in any design plan from Mid Century Modern to 21st Century Contemporary.
