A Spectacular heavy weight acetate barkcloth with an Asian inspired design.
This textile features a fab 50s rendition of a traditional Asian landscape, sporting everything from a man fishing for dinner in a beautiful setting beside a pagoda, overflowing with lush foliage, to a man serenading his sweetheart on the mandolin, amid a beautiful garden of flowers.
The rich earth tone color palate featuring pale yellow, frost blue, pine green, cream, and gray, with a chocolate and mocha brown ground enhance the dramatic asian design.

Very Good Used Vintage Condition
This fabric started life as a drapery that has been carefully deconstructed, freshly laundered, and pressed.
No dry Rot or Sun Damage.
There is a permanent fold line 1" in from each selvage edge from the side hems when this fabric was a drapery.
