A fab 50s Eames Era abstract barkcloth that looks like it was designed by Picasso himself.
I can see Jane Jetson ordering this fabric for her study after reading the latest Architectural Digest. She's such a beatnik at heart, how could she resist this groovy abstract look?
This barkcloth sports a design featuring everything but the kitchen sink... literally.
There are stylized cups and saucers, oak leaves in a frame, abstract birds, sundials, mandolins, and wine bottles to name a few.
All this, interspersed with geometric shapes and squiggles to give this mod fabric a random, surreal appearance.
Honey yellow, wine and blush red, turquoise, pickle green, chocolate brown, and white are the colors of the day, with a cream colored ground to make the whole design pop.
