A Fabulous medium weight cotton barkcloth from the 1950s, that any self-respecting beatnik would be proud to own.
This Mid Century Modern fabric features a very hip abstract geometric design that steps slightly over the lines. It reminds me of the wall sculptures of the Brutalist movement so popular in the mid to late 50s and 60s.
A striking color palate made popular in that era, the rusty orange, black and pine green, pop on the olive green ground.
The fabulous linen weave of this textile adds even more interest to this MCM masterpiece.
