Magnificent Hollywood Regency Era Barkcloth Fabric circa 1940s
So fabulous that they would send Don Draper's wife on a decorating binge had she found them in her mothers closet back in the day.
This fabulous autumn bloom and leaf design is the quintessential romantic floral made famous in the 1940s.
Stunning pastels in violet, pale pink, baby blue, and cream, with foliage in two shades of green, and chocolate accents, stand out on a soft white ground.
The nubby texture of the textile, and threads of sparkle add even more interest to this spectacular barkcloth.
A great addition to any design plan in need of a little understated color.

Very Good Used Vintage Condition
This fabric started life as a drapery that has been carefully deconstructed, freshly laundered, and pressed.
No Dry Rot or Sun Damage
Very faint fold lines at each selvage edge from its days of drapery-hood.
